With all these gun buy back programs popping up, I thought I'd do what I could to help out.
So I am personally organizing a gun buy back program.
$25 for functioning .22 firearms
$50 for functioning handguns
$50 for functioning 12 or 20 ga shotguns
$150 for functioning (AR,SKS,AK) type firearms.
$10 for fully loaded high capacity magazines.
:peace:
Those folks in LA are having a lot more success than I am here in the 285 Corridor.
Guns pour in at L.A. buyback events
Thousands of people line up to exchange guns for supermarket gift cards at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena and the Van Nuys Masonic Temple.
This leads me to a couple of conclusions, either I need to offer King Soopers gift cards instead of cash, or there are far more stolen guns in LA than around here.

You might want to adjust your approach, with food stamps being handed out at record levels no one will hand over a gun for stuff they can get for "free" from the Gubment. I'm thinking maybe try stuff people aren't supposed buy with food stamps like 12 packs of high quality American lager such as Meister Brau, Schaefer, or Carlings Black Label.
I wonder if the Cops are running the serial numbers off these guns and keeping track of who turned each one in. I bet many of those weapons have an interesting history, maybe a few "tools of the trade" being disposed of.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
