The vision and goal of COFA is to use God’s great outdoors through hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and other activities, to promote the gospel and a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Currently COFA is developing programs to gather men, women, families (which include single parents) together through the great outdoors experience.

How to Protect Yourself and Family Inside the Home!
This COFA sponsored program is for adult citizens and is so much more than just a routine shooting course. It is important that participants have sufficient maturity and life experiences to be able to assess various situations and make mature decisions. This is an 8 hour comprehensive, no nonsense program. All participants MUST have successfully completed the Basic Pistol Course. Instructor is a former Chief of Police and a nationally certified firearms instructor. Date is Febuary 9th 9:00 AM -5:00 PM
Lessons include: Introduction to Defensive Shooting, Basic Defensive Pistol Skills, Firearms and the Law: Possession, Ownership and the Use of Deadly Force, Strategies for Home Safety & Responding to a Violent Confrontation, Selecting a Pistol for Self-Defense
What you will need to bring: A pistol of your choice with a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition. Eyes/ear protection, baseball cap for range. Attendees are responsible for their own lunch.
