I am excited to announce that Bailey is going to have a new 4H club featuring the dog project, crafts, gardening, food projects and much more! 4H is well supported in Bailey with Hamburger Helpers for the Livestock, Freedom Riders for the horse project and there is also a shooting club. But did you know that 4H also offers opportunities for youth to develop their craft skills, food skills, photography and Dog training? ( here's a link to all the projects supported by Colorado 4H )

I'm going to be the leader for the Dog Project and will provide instruction to the kids in positive dog training methods teaching them basic obedience, rally and agility skills. There will be no fee for these classes.

Interested? Come to our meeting on Monday February 11th at the Crow Hill Bible Church, 6:30 pm (just before the Freedom Riders meeting). Or feel free to contact me here via PM, email: . or by phone at (720) 924-6455. You an also contact our Park County Extension agent Deborah Lester at work: (719) 836-4296. No dogs at this meeting please!

We will also be looking for members of our community interested in introducing our members to crafts. If you'd like to volunteer to do a demonstration at a meeting, hold an activity for our kids, co-lead this group etc, please contact me.

That sounds great, thank you for letting everyone know! If you have any events planned for this year, please send them along as we'd be happy to put them on our Community Calendar!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

I'll be sure to do that-if you could add the meeting date to the community calendar that would be wonderful.
