Jeffco patrol is reporting that the wheel tracks on 285 from N Turkey Creek past Windy Point are very icy and people are still trying to drive the speed limit, causing all of the accidents. mymountaintown.com/forum/46-scanner-emer...fo-weather-forecasts
Please drive carefully and make it home safe!

We went down and back up about 10:30pm. For the most part people were behaving, but it sure was dicey out there! :driving:

Morning update. The main highways were pretty good but entrance and exit ramps were unplowed for the most part.

Thanks FH! When I drove up at 9:30 this morning they were either wet or snow-packed but fine to drive on except at Windy Point - that was slippery even though it looked like the rest of the highway. Must've had a thin layer of ice underneath. The sand and mag chloride should do a good job today of clearing the rest.
