I hate how the local channels report snow totals

We just watch 9 news and they said Conifer had 22 inches, a bit later in the story they said it was Conifer Mountain that had 22 inches.

We lived on Conifer Mountain for more than 10 years at 9800 feet and yes, we always got more snow than the Old Safeway Center many times more than a foot more but we were at 9800 feet.

If they say Conifer I think they need to be reporting snow totals right off of 285 if they say Evergreen pick a place in downtown Evergreen or maybe the Lakehouse.

We have had many relatives/friends calling from town thinking that everywhere got 22 inches and we all know that is not the case.

This is what I hate about social media talk about the truth being stretched hubby just came from Alco and because of plowing and such he said they have between 8 and10 inches which is a far cry from 22 inches.

Ok, done ranting.

Always been that way. National media will use totals from Loveland ski area and say it is Denver.
