Your Arabic is holding up pretty well.
It's sooo much cleaner than Cairo - but, then, I expected that...

Maadi was just sorta... strange... after living on al Roda. So many ex-pats from all over, it wasn't much like Egypt at all at times.

The architecture was beautiful. Merci beaucoup. My man's been there, says it's nice and I should visit - I just keep thinking that the buildings are bound to sink. Aren't many of them built on essentially man-made sand-dunes?
