The vision and goal of COFA is to use God’s great outdoors through hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and other activities, to promote the gospel and a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Currently COFA is developing programs to gather men, women, families (which include single parents) together through the great outdoors experience.

Advanced Protection Outside The Home Gun Class
Saturday, June 8th, 2013.
9:00am until 5:00pm.
Conifer Community Church, 9998 Havekost Road, Conifer CO
This COFA hosted program introduces attendees to the knowledge, skills, and attitude involved in safely, responsibly and effectively employing a concealed pistol for self-defense. This is an intensive advanced course, as the attendees must learn and practice many diverse shooting skills in order to respond quickly and appropriately to a broad range of threats he or she may encounter outside the home. The program will also cover legal and ethical ramifications when responding to a life-threatening encounter using a concealed pistol and social aftermath of the use of deadly force outside the home. All participants MUST have successfully completed the Basic Pistol Course. Instructor is a former Chief of Police and a nationally certified firearms instructor.
Lessons include: Introduction to Concealed Carry Safety & the Defensive Mindset, Introduction to Self-Defense and Concealed Carry, Legal Aspects of Concealed Carry and Self-Defense, Carry Modes & Pistol Concealment, Presenting the Pistol from Concealment, Presentation-Position-Movement, Special Shooting Techniques.
What you will need to bring: A pistol of your choice with a minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition and your concealed holster or purse. Eyes/ear protection, baseball cap for range. Attendees are responsible for their own lunch.
