I’m thrilled to announce that Virgin has created another world-first with the introduction of the technology required to produce the world’s first glass-bottomed plane. This technological innovation coincides with the start of Virgin Atlantic Airways’ first ever domestic service to Scotland.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
April Fool's? A glass-bottomed plane is only going to give you a good view while going up or down, for most of the flight at 30K+, there's really nothing to see.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
Of course it's an April Fools joke!

Some of the other airlines mentioned in this article are good but Virgin Atlantic won me over.

If you understand how a commercial airliner is built and what goes where in the aircraft it's easy to spot the original post as a fake; I was waiting for someone to ask how their luggage would get to the destination. Maybe it's a carry on only flight?

I tried an experiment on my last trip, I packed up all of the clothes and stuff I needed and FedEx'd it a day ahead of my trip to my hotel. I always carry on enough stuff to spend the night in the airport so I figured I'd be safe either way, worst case it's a trip to the local mall for a suit and tie. Turns out after baggage fees the difference in cost is almost a wash, could have done it cheaper had I sent my baggage by FedEx a couple of days early. It's not an original idea, people that travel a lot have been using overnight shipping services for a while now and I'm guessing with more success than the airlines can deliver.
