Drones being a well established technology (I recall building and flying radio controlled planes with my son 30 years ago in CAL) and a growth industry, I have decided to explore designing (all aspects) smaller private drones for use by citizens. As an adjunct countermeasures will be examined. We have interest in autonomous systems also. Perhaps the son will join (together we have 70 years design experience and degrees in CS/EE/AERO) and I am bored. Will use ardurino enbedded systems/software as much as possible. Anyone with real experience here interested ?? Initial investment is time and design tools....but a prototype may come in at about $10,000. Do not want $$$....that is easy....want brain power and creativity.
