The Colorado Department of Transportation is hoping by 2020 the Interstate 70 corridor from Interstate 25 to Tower Road will look nothing like it does now.
CDOT's proposal, unveiled at a public meeting Wednesday night, calls for dropping the interstate below ground level for a stretch, adding two additional lanes in both directions and adding a landscaper cover on top.
