Everyone be extremely careful driving this morning. Black ice in most neighborhoods...very slick. 285 has it too, but they are getting sand on it to help. Just take it slow!!

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Pretty slick. Twin accidents on both sides of I-70 on the bridge over Colfax.

Hwy 93 from the landfill north of Golden to Hwy 72, 2 rollovers, 1 truck couldnt make it up the hill so was sliding all over into oncoming traffic, 2 pickups, 1 car and 1 van in the ditch. All single vehicle incidents, all within 1/2 mile of each other.

Windy Point has been a disaster all afternoon and C470 hasn't been pretty either. Multiple rollovers and slide-offs, please be careful heading home.

Started my truck this afternoon after work, put the defrosters on full blast and proceeded to scrape the windows. Normally my plastic scrapper can do the job but had to resort to the brass bladed scrapper to get through the thick ice. Got the windows all scrapped after 20-ish minutes, jumped in, put it in reverse and feathered the throttle. Nothing but wheel spin. Shift into part time 4wd, tried again, still not moving. Shift into low range 4wd, third try was the charm but not without some more wheel spin.

Oddly enough the parking lot at work was worse than the roads going home but the roads are slick and will likely get worse as the temp drops off overnight. Drive safe if you have to drive tomorrow, I'm crossing my fingers for a commute from my bed to my home office via a pot of coffee and some breakfast in my kitchen tomorrow instead.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
