Another awe inspiring event from Alaska. Unbending nature at one of it's peaks. The event starts out with one wolf, but almost immediately the 'others' show up. Very intense and rare to see. Toodles.
Kinda sucks ta see the "little guy" gettin' nabbed, but I really appreciate raw nature just because of how natural it truly is and I can't seem to look away when it happens. Some of the wolf pack had radio collars as well, and that was wild to see because of how savage they are. At some point humans had to be in contact with them to install the collars. Reminds me one of my sisters doing an internship with the Alaska Fish & Game tagging polar bears. She had a couple pictures of her kneeling beside them while they were tranqued. She said that they weren't unconscious, but instead just unable to move. I figured that was why the thing looked like it wanted to turn and tackle her even though it couldn't move a muscle. I'll ask her to send me some pics and maybe make another thread now that I'm thinking about it. You KNOW when those polar bears came to they went about their business after a time, completely forgetting about the tag/collar and right back to being a totally wild creature. Cool stuff.
