ALASKA: Yea, It's a Jeep Thing...Sure Buddy.

Dude, this guy was a total idiot. The thing doesn't even have a basic lift kit, there's no snorkel and this was during the main runoff. How's that Jeep thing workin' out for ya?

EDIT: I really like the background music for the vid though. My favorite band!

An ungodly high lift that makes the vehicle unusable in offcamer situations?

I'll pass on that, and stay on my side of the river.

Not really sure on that though. I've been in taller on some gnarly inclines without rolling. All about how the vehicle articulates to the given obstacle. What I would like about this kind of vehicle in a river crossing would be that the water has less to push against than the Jeep you saw in the vid. There's still a lot of iron there for it to push against, but less because it's not hitting as much of the body and the front of the vehicle, imho. I like the input though NTM, and I partially agree with the first, but mostly agree with the second. In Jims Creek, one has to be missing some marbles to try that kind of crossing during serious runoff. My sister tells me people get washed down Jims Creek constantly. Surprised there's no limitations, but I guess that's one of the cool things about Ak right? Anyway, I have ta say that I would probably stay with you on the safe side, lmfao.
