Well, it's not every day that the Jeffco Sheriff Dept comes to Conifer to blow something up!
Apparently, someone hasn't been doing proper inventory in the chem lab - bet I know what they'll be doing before the end of school! There are some chemicals that if left sitting way too long will build up explosive residue - not something to leave sitting around (and sadly, it's not uncommon to find that situation in grad school labs either - no one takes ownership or wants to stop doing their work to do general lab managing).
According to the High Timber Times, West Jeff Middle will be open as usual tomorrow.
