285 Corridor Farmer's Market Opens 5/22/13

We teased about this before, but we are thrilled to officially help promote our corridor's very own Farmer's Market! This group of wonderful people do it all (for which we are grateful and looking forward to their products with mouths watering!). They will be hosting at the Indian Hills Community Center on Wednesdays from 3:30-7:30 and every 3rd Saturday, then coming up and doing our MarketDayz! They've been sharing recipes and tips on their Facebook page, Like them to receive their updates, and keep checking here for more as MarketDayz approach! We open at Aspen Park June 22nd!

Tomorrow 3:30 - 7:30 at the Indian Hills Community Center we will have an early season small but present nutritious selection of local produce - including fresh bundles of: French Wild Broccoli, Dandelion Greens & Catnip, as well as yummy Farm Fresh Eggs! Also we have local grassfed ground beef 94/6 lean!

Hey folks, we're having a very needed soggy morning around here, but it is interfering with our harvesting schedule. This afternoon there is a potential for thunderstorms as well. We're going to reschedule this week's Wednesday market for tomorrow, Thursday 5/30. Same place, same time, just a much more pleasant day. Thanks! See ya tomorrow!

Our sincerest apologies, but we are cancelling the 285MarketDayz in Rustic Square tomorrow. Due to the weather and current crop yields, no one has any produce available for us to sell (we've even checked from Brighton to Thornton after our Indian Hills Farmers Market group let us know). We'd rather have a true, quality farmer's market for you all so we decided to hold off on tomorrow's event.

We are still on track for the next events and will keep you posted. One note is that the Rustic Square MarketDayz are being moved to the 2nd Saturdays instead of the 1st Saturdays for August and September. We will see how the weather is going for October and decide then of that date will still be happening.
