LONGMONT, Colo. - An Amber Alert has been issued after a man is accused of breaking into his estranged wife's Longmont home Saturday morning, assaulting her with pepper spray and a stun gun, and then kidnapping their 3-year-old son.
When police contacted Monty Turner in March, he was driving a maroon 2001 Dodge Caravan bearing Colorado license 576-ZXY.
Monty Ray Turner is a white, 51-year-old man who is 6-feet-2-inches tall, weighs 210 pounds and has short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve dark blue shirt and blue jeans.
Luke Turner is a white 3-year-old boy who is 3-feet tall, weighs 28 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a royal blue "Lightning McQueen" shirt and light blue swim shorts.
If you see Monty Turner or Luke Turner or know their whereabouts, call Longmont Police at 303-651-8501.
Police said Turner could also be driving one of the following vehicles.
--1999 Chrysler 300, white 4-door, bearing Colorado license 161-ZXZ
--1997 Ford F350 pickup, brown 4-door, bearing Colorado license 541-YLH
--2001 Ford F350 pickup, dark blue over gray, bearing Colorado license 245-FLJ
--1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee, unknown color, Colorado license 837-UHS
