Unaffiliated voters can still register as (R) in Park Co?

I just got my Lillilan Wissel postcard in the mail asking me to vote for here and to not set on the sidelines this year! (she said set, not me)

It also says that UNAFFILIATED VOTERS CAN DECLARE AS REPUBLICAN AT ANY VOTER STATION OR AT THE CLERKS OFFICE UNTIL ELECTION DAY.

This is great, I missed the date to "change" parties, but since I did not have one, seems that I can still join one, or at least fake it to have a say in this year's election.

Is this true, can someone confirm.

Most voting stuff seems to be in the court house, but this is not a candidate issue or a conflict of any kind so I wanted to get the word out there.

Not sure I am going to vote for yet, but thanks Lillian Wissel for making this clear. It is getting close and I know that people would still like to hear some of your answers to questions in the Courthouse.

Yes, an unaffiliated voter can declare a party at the primaries.
