Pine Junction Interchange

Does anyone have an update on the design and status of the new 285 interchange at Pine Junction. I would like to see the design overview and hear about the current schedule. Also, how much of US Hwy 285 northeast and southwest of the intersection will be updated when this work is done?

Steve Harelson is the CDOT resident engineer for 285 (been so for a very long time)....he is VERY informative, willing to speak to the
community and has been out several times during the 285 expansion phase over the past decade or so. My understanding (spoke with
him this spring) is mid to late 2014 for Pine Jct....IF monies are available.....you know the sequester impacts those monies. Give him
a call at 720-497-6913 he is VERY accessible and easy to talk to......from what I know, a ROUGH draft is available and meetings are
in progress as we "speak".

The IRS dweeb that is sitting at home drawing $177,000 plus benefits can be terminated and 20 more like her.....that will pay for it for the people......
