Park County...County Wide Burn Ban

Due to limited resources, dry hot weather and the need to prevent fire hazards.....All of Park County is now under an Open Burning Fire Ban.

Thanks for the update. Looks like I won't be using the burn barrel this summer.

Just had a quick dark cloud move thru here, North Bailey. Only a few drops of rain, but unfortunately a few lightning bolts, looked like one toward downtown Bailey or Shawnee to the south. Approx.
Fortunately the wind is not too bad, just breezy.

Lightening strike at Santa Maria statue.....now grass fire....per scanner (PC)

That was probably the strike I saw, big cloud to ground strike behind Mt Logan. Dang dry lightning.
