How you can have a whole book on the subject is beyond me. But, if you ask me that is a cowards way to break up. But I will say sometimes that might be a better way to do it. I would never go back to someone that doesn't have the b**ls to do it in person. And maybe it would be good to know that the person is that much of a jerk. Might make it easier to break up.
