Did you see that first responders might have caused one of the fatalities by driving over her? Imagine thinking you have survived the crash only to be killed by your rescuers.

This is where I just don't understand the press coverage of this. They are treating it like a crime scene where anyone with knowledge of it is dead.

All I see are reports saying it will take months to figure out what happened and how critical the black boxes are. Yes, they are important, but the fact is the pilots survived. The pilots will know far more than anyone else about what happened.

And if it takes months to get a clear story from the pilots, then I just don't understand our system. I assume they've already been questioned, and since nothing has been reported (not that it has to be this soon), the press is just going wild with speculation instead.

Or am I missing something?

Just a guess, but since the airline, and possibly Boeing, could be liable for what happened (and being's as there were deaths and permanent injuries resulting), any investigation is going to be drug out and/or quietly swept under the rug.

And I just saw this:

No hadn't seen that, how awful for her and them. Did read reports that said some of the victims had road rash, as if they'd been dragged and wondered how they could've been dragged.

It was reported on Fox.

They are saying today that the passenger might have already been dead when they ran over her. Probably pretty hard to tell now.
