Homeschooling Mom

Hello! I am a homeschooling mom, parent to three kids aged 6, 8 and 17 and married eleven years to my best friend. We live up the 285 Corridor closer to Tiny Town than any other town. I am a former teacher, current author who loves to spend time with our family (including our four dogs), being outdoors, the mountains, the ocean, reading, writing, research and travel. I am currently in works to open a homeschool resource center in Kittredge with project-based learning, open learning and direct instruction programs as well as rental options for groups who just want to get together to learn and/or socialize. But, in the meantime, I am always on the look-out for other families who live and love alternative learning lifestyles!
