From Evergreen Park and Rec District:
EPRD Closes Wulf, Lake House Due to Flooding

Lake trails closed, boating prohibited

Greetings!

Wulf Recreation Center is closed today and all programs there are cancelled due to flooding in downtown Evergreen, the closure of Hwy 73 and 74 in the vicinity, and unsafe conditions for staff and patrons.

Evergreen Lake House and all trails at Evergreen Lake are also closed, and all boating activities are curtailed until further notice.

The Lake House is not accessible as the bridge, wetlands and boardwalk are under water. Jeffco Sheriff has closed Upper Bear Creek Road at the Lake House Bridge.

Wilmot Elementary and Evergreen High School are also closed due to flooding and road closures. Kids are being bused to Conifer High School and parents can pick them up there. They will need to present ID. Kids who drove have been instructed to go home. Questions should be directed to the bus terminal at 303-982-5215.

EPRD and the Evergreen Metropolitan District continue to warn citizens to avoid Bear Creek because of safety concerns created by high water levels.

Also cancelled:

Gold Crown Volleyball for 8th grade girls
All aquatics lessons at Buchanan Park pool
