The Hiwan Homestead Museum in Evergreen is the perfect place to get in the Halloween spirit. This 25-room mansion will set the scene for a spooky night including tricks, treats, creepy music and plenty of decorations. Additionally, Halloween crafts will be available for children to create. This event is free and open to children of all ages. Come in costume Wednesday, October 30, 2013, 4-7pm.

If you and your kids want to get outside among the shadows for Halloween, come to the Lookout Mountain Nature Center Halloween Tales and Trails event. Join us Saturday, October 19 for this fun annual fall festival. This all-age, family-friendly, non-scary Halloween event will feature guided hikes, Halloween crafts, games, storytellers, special exhibits, and live animals such as birds, snakes and insects provided by Nature’s Educators. Registration is required. Online or call 720-497-7600.
