Agree, the ground that isn't paved will be wet and maybe retain a trace of snow if there is some vegetation on it. Otherwise this storm is probably not going to amount to much locally, as for the folks further north, Boulder, Lyons, and other flood effected areas don't need the additional moisture.
On the other hand, I have to admit it really wouldn't hurt my feelings if the NWS got it all wrong and every place south of I 70 got nailed with a foot or two of SNOW! I'd love to wake up tomorrow and see so much snow on the ground that I know I don't even need to call the office. Fingers crossed for a new forecast retraction that indicates well after the fact that "the storm suddenly shifted direction and that's why central western Jeffco and Park counties are getting so much snow."
