Help the Philippines (typhoon Haiyan)

I'm sure there are other organizations contributing to the disaster relief efforts in the Philippines.

I just happen to support World Vision. They've received good marks by charity watch type organizations - including Philanthropy Institute, ECFA, and the BBB.

You might also look at Compassion International and UNICEF.

In any event - it might not feel like much --- but any donation will help with this disaster.

Good to know you verify your charities. Looks like the death rate has declined but it will rise again with so much infrastructure lost, especially clean water. And thanks to US and British naval assets deploying to the region to help out.
