BE A RECYCLING HERO FOR ELK CREEK!!
Cub Scout Pack 285 and the ECE Girl Scout troops are joining together for a fundraiser benefiting Elk Creek Elementary! This is a "no cost" fundraiser for the community. To help out, simply bring unused or unwanted shoes, books and textiles to the school. There will be a kick-off for the campaign next week at Elk Creek. The class with the most shoes brought in on Wednesday will get a party with Mr. Lucas on Friday! The child who brings in the most weight in textiles on Friday will WIN A BIKE!!
Wednesday: Shoes
Thursday: Books
Friday: Textiles
The contest will be next week, but the recycle campaign will extend through December 6th. If we collect 10,000 lbs of textiles, the school will get $1500 and an iPad! It's time to do some early "Spring Cleaning" this FALL!
