Elk Creek Fire Dept Nov BOD Mtg, 2014 Budget Public Hearing

Since this is a very important meeting directly impacting the community and relating to the recently voted mill levy, as it included a public hearing on the proposed 2014 Elk Creek Fire Protection District Budget, we decided it was worth having a dedicated thread. Below you will find the video of the meeting, as well as all documents handed out during the meeting which include the Agenda, 2-page Fire Chief's Report for October, 10-page 2014 Draft Budget Summary, and 9-page 2011-2014 Budget Spreadsheet Comparison.

The December meeting, which will be held on Thursday Dec 12 at 6pm, Fire Station 1, 11993 Blackfoot Rd, will be when the 2014 budget is voted on by the Board of Directors. There is a committee at the department that is currently in the process of acquiring bids from many different companies for new equipment and they will be submitted for review and recommendation. Everyone is invited to attend all Board of Directors meetings.
