I don't know much (not supposed to) --- but I do know they're going to get Bailey Brat #1.
Congratulations, USS Florida (SSGN 728).
Guessing there's worse places to be than King's Bay, Georgia.

I made a deployment out of Apra Harbor, Guam on a Boomer twice....indeed there are much worse places than Kings Bay. Also made two North Pole trips.....the boats go everywhere that they can submerged with water under the keel. What an adventure.....he is honored to have such opportunity.......still miss it at times.

you likely know ---- the SSGN are converted SSBNs.
I hear they're not bad ---- AND
they have ports of call.

Ballistic missile, guided missile, it still launches things that go boom, right? Congratulations to your bubblehead bb, may his deployment be a quiet one filled with adventure he recalls fondly.

Yes, PS --- lots of things that can go "boom" --- 150 of them, to be exact.
