2013 Business of the Year Awards Announced
(Evergreen, CO. – December 16, 2013) 2013 has been an amazing year for our business community. This month we are celebrated business success at our annual fundraising event, Sparkle and Shine: A Celebration of Our Community.
Held at Hiwan Golf Club, our members and the community were treated to a wonderful meal at a stunning venue, sparkling with seasonal decorations. Community members gathered to celebrate several new business awards and support the Chamber through a cash raffle sponsored by the Chamber Board of Directors and live and silent auctions.
Taking a turn from just recognizing the Business of the Year Award, the planning committee continued with the new gem awards that cover several industries, allowing for additional acknowledgement and appreciation.
Thank you to those who joined us to honor and celebrate our amazing local businesses and organizations who were nominated for Business of the Year awards. In our books, these folks are ALL winners! Just being nominated is a sign that our members and community recognize they are all actively promoting Evergreen as their community, participating in the creation of a strong local economy and promoting leadership in the community to build strong relationships.
Our Sapphire Award (Best New Business) nominees included The Wilson Practice, Hideaway Kitchen & Bar, Crossroads Chiropractic & Acupuncture, Your Mountain Home, Nellybelle General Store, Soul Path Living and Ultimate Sounds. The 2013 Sapphire Award was granted to Crossroads Chiropractic & Acupuncture.
Nominees for our Ruby Award (People’ Choice) included Howling Wolf Kennels, Hearthfire Books and Treats, Da Kind Soups, Evergreen Clothing Company, EChO Resale Shops, EV Studios Architecture and Drive Smart, and John Baldwin IT. The 2013 Ruby Award was bestowed upon Da Kind Soups.
Our Emerald Award (Most Uniquely Evergreen) nominees included Rainmaker, Keys on the Green , Creekside Cellars, DEED (Downtown Evergreen Economic District), The Evergreen Gallery, and Health Quest Adventure & Wellness. The winner of the 2013 Emerald Award was DEED.
Nominees for our Diamond Award (Business of the Year) included The Aesthetic Lounge, The Home Depot, Endless Travel, One World Café, 1st Bank, Hilltop Conoco, Bear Paw Stanbro Property Management, Scripps Taylor and Associates, Evergreen Park and Recreation District, Mountain Parks Veterinary Hospital, Love & Light TLC, Rio Del Sol, Stagecoach Sports Grill, and The Green Merchant. Our Diamond Award went to Stagecoach Sports Grill. Congratulations to all of our nominees. We are proud of each of you!
