How did you conclude Greed was rampant in the blue states from that map? It looked concentrated (red?) on the coasts and Northeast and Northwest. Did I read it wrong?

I meant Blue in the traditionally democrat definition. The states of California and Massachusetts are all colored red, indicating high levels of "greed". I think the stereotype is that republicans are the greedy ones....
Greed not important in the Midwest? Makes sense to me, you don't think money is most important if you are living there. The people in the Midwest who think that way move to the coast.
