From Carrie Marsh and Cheryl Quaintance
Longtime Bailey resident Denise Haas was severely burned in an at-home accident in November. This has resulted in uninsured medical expenses and loss of income. In an effort to get past this setback, her friends will be holding a benefit on Sunday, Jan 26 at the Rustic Station in downtown Bailey. Denise is employed by the Rustic Station Restaurant. Rustic owners Lynn and Dennis Griffin are holding Denise's job until she is able to return and donating a portion of the sales at the benefit.
She is a wonderful person who has been around a long time. Most of the Chamber members should know her, but may not know of her accident. Assistance in supporting one of our own would be greatly appreciated.
A silent auction will be held at the event and you are asked to donate items to help with this effort. Gift certificates, merchandise, offers of services or other items of value are requested. For additional information or to make a cash or merchandise donation, contact Cheryl Quaintance (303) 838-7411, Carrie Marsh at Carrie Marsh Insurance Inc (303) 838-0554 or Lynn Billings at Finglow Inc (303) 838-2654
Thank you!
Monthly General Membership Meeting: 2nd Tuesday of every month from 07:30-09:00.
The benefit is being held from 2-7pm and they need volunteers to help work during the event (setting up the Silent Auction items, tearing down and cleaning up, etc). If you can spare a couple of hours to join me, please call and let them know.
Thanks!

Just a reminder bump: this is happening this weekend! I'm donating items I've bought from Luna's Mandala and Look What I Found and will be working all day so I hope to see you!

I posted several pictures on our Facebook page
www.facebook.com/MyMountainTown
of items available for auction. It closes at 5:30, so you still have some time to get here and bid before it's done!

The silent auction was a great success, thank you to all who donated, or came and bid/donated!
Just a quick update from Mrs. BGR:
When she is medically allowed to go back to work, she will do so with most of her bills paid, her car running and full of gas, and her refrigerator full of food. Again, thank you. You helped a really good woman in an extremely bad situation. The Angels dance when that happens.
