INDIAN HILLS, Colo. — Two people are dead, including the gunman, after a shooting at a home in Jefferson County, and another is in the hospital.
The shooting was reported around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Indian Hills, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. The small town is just west of Morrison and just off U.S. 285, and the shooting was apparently sparked by a family argument.
Sheriff’s deputies said they discerned the cause of the shooting from speaking with one of the survivors, who was reportedly unhurt and found hiding in a closet.

This is so sad that a moment of anger has forever changed this family's life. Obviously there is much more to this that we don't know about family dynamics, but that lives are lost is such a tragedy. Prayers to the community and their friends and loved ones.
Officials on Wednesday released the names of those involved in a fatal shooting inside an Indian Hills home.
The shooting stemmed from a disturbance among Robert Leiman, 25, and his parents, Bruce Leiman, 58, and Margaret Leiman, 53, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
An investigation into "circumstances surrounding the double shooting and homicide" is ongoing, the sheriff's office said in a media release.
Robert Leiman's adult stepsister who also lives in the home called 911 after hearing gunfire in the main level of the residence. She hid in a bedroom closet until help arrived.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
