Mom was a commercial artist. For "play," she had a watercolor set with (at least) 100 blues in little bitty wells. None of them were the right blue -- instead, every single time, she mixed them on the top of the lid to get what she wanted, and the same was true for every color she used.
During auto accident investigations, male witnesses are likely to describe the opposing vehicle by make and model (and maybe even get the year right). Women will say, It was Blue! :LMAO:
Thus far, all of the Great Composers have been men, but who knows what the future may bring? and meanwhile, yeah, it does seem as though some of you guys don't always "see" all the nuances and subtle tones that we typically do. But it's like the Sun and the Moon -- both are essential, and perfect in their own special way.
