Sheriff Fred Wegener would like to warn residents in the Bailey area that we are currently investigating a rash of vehicle break-in's.
Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Most of the items stolen have been in plain view. Please lock your vehicle and if able park your car in your garage during night time hours. We encourage all of our residents to lock their doors and windows and ensure their garage doors are locked, especially if it is an attached garage.
Remember to leave porch lights on at night and report unusual activities in your neighborhoods to the Park County Sheriff's Office.
We want to work with our residents to deter crime and make our communities safer.
