Hey there Homie! Although I really like what the Iditarod and Iron Dog are all about, I don't really follow it. I remember as a kid when Martin Buser was a big deal, but not really much into it unfortunately Homie. Something kinda cool though that my Mom still does. She flies up to Nome with a group of her friends as "K-9 Fairies" and welcomes the mushers back as they make it across the line. I think they've made it in the local paper up there a couple times.
One thing I DO know about this years race is there is a ginormous lack of snow. Lots of dirt and ice. Quite unheard of but that's the way she goes. I wish the mushers nothing but the continued safety of themselves and their team. Iron Dog just kicked off early last week too Homie, check that out if yer interested.
