About 9 years ago I got my hands on a baby coffin sized box of live lobsters, I brought them home but we had to go to a Jeffco Midget Football game so I filled my bath tub with water and dumped all 40 of them in there for safe keeping- and to our horror they were all dead when we got home. Almost the same senario last night (adult coffin sized box- 90 count) except this time I put 6 cups of empsom salts into the water, and when we got home late last night they were all alive and kicking- We've been boiling lobsters since 4:45AM Daylight Savings time, and my freezer is full of Tails..Had 7 already today.

Last time someone told me they need to be in salt water- I knew that, but was suprised that they died so fast in the fresh water- It was a suprise lobster delivery yesterday and all we had around was the epsom salts, they worked!
When we were in Iceland, we got a lunch of baby lobsters but instead of the typical butter, they cooked them in beef stock. It was very good! I ate about (7) of those buggers. (They were smallish.)
