Per AARP.....online service where doctors and facilities can BID FOR PATIENT BUSINESS....
MediBid.com.....as with EVERYTHING else in life....you must do your research on credentials/
experience of participants....."When patients start to behave like consumers, prices come
down"......says Chris Hobbs,MediBid CFO.....HOW do you feel about this....I am ambivalent....
I will be CLOSELY following this new concept.... :coffee-News:

Great idea.
Let people check out prices and prices will go down.

I am puzzled why there is not more feedback.....this NEW twist to healthcare APPEARS to be
innovative in it's attempt to provide information/services/CHOICES.....from my POV, choices
are an integral part of the process....

Not sure about a bidding model, but of course it makes sense to have more visibility on prices for consumers. Just about every other product or service works with advanced price info except healthcare.

Why no interest or feedback?

Probably because the current model is based on pre-paid monthly premiums and fixed co-pays, fixed networks, and mandated "not really free services".

Who cares what the price is when my co-pay is always free or a fixed $40, or my deductible is a fixed amount.
