If historical guesswork is to be believed, William Shakespeare was born 450 years ago on Wednesday, and died on the same date, 23 April, 52 years later. Within 30 years, he would forge a career in the theatre that would still make him the world's most celebrated playwright five centuries later.

I heard that all his plays were written by someone else who just happened to have the same name.

I am pretty sure it is somewhere in this batch of 3.7 million hits.

Per NPR, why did he leave his home for London? It appears Will had been poaching the King's Deer and he had to flee.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
