Announcement: We're back up after the migration

:announce: The day has finally arrived! After testing a backup copy of the site to make sure everything works, we are migrating the whole kit and kaboodle to our new hosting company tomorrow! Yahoo! What this means is that we will be shutting down the forums starting at 10am, moving the newest stuff over, and setting everything back up. If all goes as planned, we should be back up by 2pm, if not sooner.

You'll know that you are on the new server when you see the forums again. If you get an error message, try logging out and back in again. If that doesn't fix it, or if you see anything else, please email .

We'll be posting updates on Facebook and Twitter in the meantime if you'd like to check in or chat there! There's a lot going on tomorrow , so if you need any event info, please copy it down tonight.

Our apologies for the downtime we will experience. While inconvenient, this new hosting company guarantees 100% up-time, has great reviews, and has really been impressing the web developer with their customer service in the past week and a half so it will be a good move in the long term. Luckily, it's supposed to be a beautiful weekend so you'll want to be outside enjoying it anyway!

They actually do have back-ups available where you are concurrently running on 2 servers so if one goes down, they just flip the switch and up the other goes - but that's a little outside our price range. They still guarantee 100% though, and according to their history have made good on that. Yes, glitches happen so it's really more like 99.999% but that's good enough for me. As long as it's not the nightmare we've had...

Thanks goes to Complete Creative Services for all their work - many sleepless nights happening right now hauling a$$ to get this done in record time. The new hosting company has been beyond our expectations efficient and accommodating as well - they asked us when the best time would be to switch, and with the forecast as it is, a gorgeous weekend day is best - but means they have to work on the weekend. Many, many thanks to them for staying in and assisting! :woo hoo:

If anyone is still having issues logging in or posting, please try logging out, and fully shutting down/closing whatever browser you are using (IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc). Any cookies still stored on your computer from the old site will interfere with you getting onto the "new" site here on the new server.

Opening up your browser and logging back in should take care of it. If it doesn't you can try clearing your cache as well, or email us and we'll walk you through some other options.
