Because I just cannot go another day without that left handed back scratcher.

"Amazon is expanding its effort to remake the U.S. Postal Service as its very own courier. On Thursday, the online retailer said it will now offer Sunday deliveries through the post office in more than a dozen new cities, up from just two when this unique partnership started last year.

If you’re an Amazon customer, Sunday delivery may seem like a small extra perk. But the service means a lot to Amazon. Walmart and Target are open all weekend, after all. More than just competing one extra day, however, Amazon’s deal with the Postal Service speaks to the online retailer’s desire be everywhere, all the time, not just online, but also off. Not excited about Sunday delivery. In fact, I wouldn't mind if the Post Office took off Saturday and Wednesday to save costs.
I just don't need anything that fast except maybe to fix something in the house and then I need to go to the hardware store to make sure I get the right thing.

Because I travel a lot I actually prefer to schedule the delivery date vs. being able to receive a package every day of the week. My neighbors are good about receiving packages for me but I don't like having to ask them if I don't have to.

Maybe some day I'll win the lottery so I can retire, then I can start acting like Howard Hughes and never leave the house. I'll have all of my needs delivered to my door, under that circumstance it would be great to have stuff delivered every day of the week... Nah, If I had that kind of cash I'd "have people" who do the menial tasks for me so I could be free to spend my time doing the meaningful things like rearranging all of my books in my library in alphabetical order according to the date of publication.
