Lightning Does Strike Twice!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

With two fatalities in as many days. Lightning is normally more likely to kill than wild animals.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

The other thing that is curious to me is that in each instance 8 people were involved. Is there something special about that particular part of RMNP that causes hikers to travel in groups of 8? Any numerologists out there who can weigh in on what makes a group of 8 people more likely to attract lightning?

9news is reporting a total of 21 people taken to the hospital due to lightning strikes in RMNP in the past two days.

How about two kayakers that died on the Arkansas River - 1 Friday and 1 today?

How very sad for all involved in these incidents.

Could be related to the size of the strike radius area where the lightning bolt scatters thru the ground. Also, recent Imperial data shows that men are much more likely to get hit/killed by lightning, maybe because they are taller??? I dunno.

Just their time to exit....metaphysically inclined individuals would see it as a "opted exit point," of
which there are several in ones lifetime....choice is yours, but there is a final choice that must be
exercised....(your time has expired here on earth, you have ACCOMPLISHED your chosen mission)....JMO
