We just got pounded with 3/4 inch hail in the Ranchos it was a quick storm but heard the hail before it hit us it was a big rumble.

It rained here in PJ about that time, but no hail. It has actually been a really nice day.

In Burland we got hail but not nearly that large -- pea size or smaller. First I heard it I ran outside and pulled the tomatoes into the greenhouse. Whew! The lettuce, spinach, and radishes are somewhat protected by a tree, and I can't move them anyway.

That radar image showed the storm just north of me. I was outside wondering if the clouds could get any darker.

Clouds got very dark here but I thought some of it could be how the sun was hitting it.

Quadman went out to leave to see the horses and heard the rumble then one large hail stone hit my car (his truck got hit in Sterling with tons of damage so who cares) and decided to move it to the garage. While in processes he got hit with a few stingers on the arm then all hell broke loose for about 10 minutes.

Happy to report Quadman is fine so is the car some of the flowers are not so happy.
