My wife heard on the radio that the rules on reverse mortgages had changed such that we did not both have to be over 62 to qualify. I googled it and filled in a form to get some information.
I swear SIMULTANEOUSLY with my hitting enter the phone rang and some very hungry guy drooled into my ear for 20 minuets about how they were the best in the industry even though his software had not yet been updated to reflect the change.
He must have been seeing my keystrokes real time because the time from my hitting enter and the phone ringing was nill. We looked at each other and said NAH, can't be, yet it was.
I was looking at some additional education so I can get better at understanding the ins and outs of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), as I was browsing a page at the ITT website I noticed a link to upload my resume so prospective employers could contact me. So went ahead and posted my resume and no sooner finished posting when the phone rand the the caller ID display said ITT. I answered the call and sure enough there's a nice lady on the other end bound and determined to sign me up for classes next week. After the fourth time I told her I was only doing research and wasn't interested in going back to school I finally gave up and set the phone down next to the Wundermutt and him breath in to the mic for five minutes and then I hung up.
Now I'm getting multiple calls everyday from multiple schools wanting me to sign up for classes. So now when the phone rings and I don't recognize the number I don't answer anymore. Then there's all of the new e-mail traffic but fortunately I can filter them off to the junk inbox fairly easily.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
