Ok I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we moved to the mountains about 22 years ago I can remember every evening we were racing the storms to get a horseback ride in.

Some were heavy rains but not every day so that is a bit different but will never complain about rain.

We moved to the top of Conifer Mountain and the weather there was crazy the lightning storms would have the hair on my arms standing on end.

Now we are in the banana belt and with the moisture (not the cool temps) I would have to say that maybe this year I might find that rare mountain banana.

Just wondering if the this is a hint of what winter will bring. What do you think?

I miss that predictable summer weather pattern too, if it was June, July, or August at some time close to 2:00 PM you could pretty much count of rain until 6:00 PM almost every night. I'm not fond of the current hot and dry trend (even though we've had some rain lately). I'm ready for Fall and Winter to get here now!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

I'm loving the rain. The hail? Not so much.

If it can't be snow, then let it rain, without the lightning. How about yesterday's gullywasher? Driveways ok?

If you like rain, this should be a good week.
Sandbag time?

The weather is rolling in. Looking at our Deer Creek Realty webcam view showing Mt Rosalie & Mt Evans, you can see the difference from 12:55 to 1:15pm:

Checking out our Weather Underground Wundermap , it says it's raining now west of Bailey and will be raining in an hour and a half east of Conifer and Pine in Roxborough Park.
