I don't answer the phone anymore

Unless it is a number I know I don't answer the phone anymore as 9 times out of 10 it is a political call either a robo call or some person that wants me to tell them who I am voting for.

None of their business who I am going to vote for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I even went as far as trying to get these calls to quit by going to calling the district offices but it is only good for on election at least that is what I am assuming as next time there is and election here all the calls come again.

The other night it was about 10:15 and we got a call from a robo-caller and I will tell you this I will not be voting for that person/Amendment even if they were my choice. I would rather leave the ballot blank because there should be NO calls for anything political after 8:00 and we should be able to opt out of all political calls.

Can't wait for the presidential sh** to start.

I do the same all year long. Leave a message. Irony? One of my first jobs was making political calls for Federico Pena in his bid for mayor.

I have learned the hard way that hospitals and specialists will mask their #'s / identities and generally do not leave messages.

At least that is how it is working with University Hospital. So If you have anything pending medically, I suggest you pick up even for weird or blocked caller id's

:( You weren't the only one. People hated having their dinner or TV watching interrupted, but most sad were the seniors who wanted to talk because they were so lonely.

EM found an ingenious solution that's stopped the calls to our house...

When they ask if there are any adults who are registered to vote, he just says no. Stops the rest of the questions, and they haven't called back since! (I swear Cory Gardner's campaign staff was calling 3X/week). :cheer:

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

You can always pretend to be hard of hearing...

That guy has a lot of other good suggestions for dealing with telemarketers, but that's about the only G rated one I could find.
