I really hated my first exposure to Chaucer as kid in High School, he was confusing and hard to understand. I was so lucky to have a teacher who really knew how to teach, a man who could capture an audience while explaining any topic in a way that kept everyone's attention. Thanks Ron Wilson for the time you invested in my education, I know I wasn't your best student but I really enjoyed your instruction and your approach to education me and the rest of my graduating class!

A truly heart felt THANKS to Mr. Toomey (my jr. high school English teacher)...he made learning FUN
and funky. We listened to Classical Music,we were required to read a book called 30 days to a More
Powerful Vocabulary(which he purchased for the class.) Words like supercilious, obsequious and effete
were thrown around the room and tried on like a new pair of levis. When we were out of line, unruly,he
would banish us to the "Lizard"s Lair"(classroom was in a basement with a set of stair)...TEACHING
effective and yet fun.
