Okay, that's a gauntlet thrown down that totally requires first-hand experimentation and analysis, preferably on site where they are made! Road trip???

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

I'll pass on the road trip. Been there although I didn't do that. As I recall I drank mostly Kerin (?) or Saki at that time. I bet we could find a good scotch bar in Denver.

Speaking of bars have you been to the one behind and maybe next door to your office. I have been by a couple of times but they were closed.

Had some at Zoka's (altho I'm not a wild whiskey woman who indulges that much)....seemed outstanding to me,but I'm not a pro.

BLASPHEMY! Actually I find that Scotch is one of those products that most individuals have specific preferences for specific characteristics. I have a preference for Glenmorangie 18 Years Old "Extremely Rare", and Bunnahabhain 25 Year Old. The prices for those particular products make it easy to self regulate the frequency and amount I consume, these bottles are kept under lock and key and only come out for special occasions!

As for SC's idea to go on a road trip, I like the idea but that could get expensive fast! We need to form a team and then get sponsors to help defray the costs... In the meanwhile I suggest taking a local field trip to the Celtic Tavern on 18th and Blake, if you need exposure to a fine selection of single malt whiskeys they have a fine assortment. Bring money, it would also be a good idea to secure local lodging for an overnight stay. The Brown Palace and Hotel Teatro are both excellent choices.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Japan is one place I have always considered visiting, just because it is so weird non-typical. Scotland sounds good too, Scottish ales are among my Favs.

Lets GO!

This is a little political but it is alcohol related so I will stick it here. There is a short vid at the link that starts itself.

Any person who hasn't got enough sense to pour a beer correctly can't be of very much value to society, their family, or their own damn self if I do say so!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Road trip sounds good...

Don't forget that there is a distillery in Breckenridge...from what I've heard their product is excellent.

I wouldn't know 'cuz I'm not a hard alcohol drinker.
