It is snowing in Breckenridge...there's about a half inch (maybe a little more) accumulation on the grassy areas, but the roads are only wet at this point. If it gets as cold as they say it is going to, the wet will freeze.

We need it...the ski runs on the mountains in Breck were brown this morning when I passed them.

Scattered flakes in Lakewood, but not sticking. Smells like a stockyard, must be the inversion.

Snowing in Lakewood!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

It smelled of Greeley today as I departed the DTC, I always wonder if the good people of the Naitonal Weather Service have all of the information they really need to make accurate predictions when this kind of storm happens. What do I know? I'm not a Meterologist; if I was wrong more than 95% in my profession I wouldn't have a job!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Always hard to guess on snow totals especially when you are forecasting from the foothills to the plains and from Douglas County to Boulder.
