TEAM EVERGREEN: LET'S PUT EVERGREEN ON THE USA PRO CHALLENGE MAP!

TIME SENSITIVE: Vote for Stage 6 BY 11:59 pm MST on Friday, December 12th!
The Challenge: Stage 5 ends in Breckenridge and Stage 7 starts in Golden...what cities should Stage 6 visit? Help shape the route for the 2015 USA Pro Challenge by telling us your dream stage and route for Saturday, August 22. (Please keep route suggestions within 150miles of Breckenridge and Denver) Check out the other stages!
The Answer: Starting in Belmar (Lakewood) with a long ride to Golden - a perfect start to the Stage for the Peloton. Once in Golden climb Lookout Mountain before heading down through Red Rocks Park to Morrison. From Morrison the course will go towards Evergreen on Bear Creek Road and then climb Squaw Pass and descend past Echo Lake to Idaho Springs. The route will then follow along the base of the mountains leading into the historic town of Georgetown and the final climb to a finish on top of Guanella Pass.
This allows for:
2 KOM's on Lookout Mountain and Squaw Pass
An easy transfer from Breckenridge to stay in Denver overnight (for 2 nights - the teams and entourage will love 2 nights in 1 hotel!)
A sprint in Idaho Springs right over I-70 bringing great attention to the race or a sprint finish in Evergreen right in the middle of downtown
Great access for spectators from the Mountains and the Front Range
And it shows off our backyard!
